About The Position

Impact Fire Services is a full-service fire protection company that provides installation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, and retrofit of fire safety systems. The position involves servicing and providing regularly scheduled maintenance on fire protection products, ensuring they are in the best possible working condition. The Technician will report to the Fire Extinguisher Manager and is expected to meet weekly productivity goals while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn required processes for servicing and maintaining a variety of fire protection products.
  • A valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical activities outlined in accompanying physical requirements checklist.
  • A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
  • Working habits and personal appearance which are both neat and well organized.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment background, MVR and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Applicable experience in the fire protection industry.
  • A basic level of competency and comfort with mechanical fittings, hand tools, and power tools and other light machining equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service and maintenance.
  • Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the manager.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
  • Protect the Company’s Assets.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
