Requirements
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experiencerequired
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment
- Ability to manage inventory and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with shipping/receiving andlogisticsprocesses preferred
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on commercial kitchen equipment
- Assistwith shop repairs of counter equipment (e.g., slicers, mixers, warmers)
- Receive incoming parts shipments, label them, and distribute to customer or inventory bins
- Maintain and organize parts inventory to ensure accuracy and availability
- Coordinate and process partsreturnswith vendors and ship via UPS, FedEx, etc.
- Maintain shop tools and track technician tool loans
- Manage customer loaner equipment inventory and tracking
- Operate a forklift to unload cooking equipment from delivery trucks
- Assistthe installation team with equipment setup and installs as needed
- Support overall shop organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency
