Position Overview: Excellent entry level position. Recent high school graduates are welcome to apply. Shop technicians are responsible for servicing, testing, and recharging portable fire extinguishers. Shop technicians may also occasionally accompany field technicians to assist on certain jobs. Training will be provided.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers (mostly weighing 15-45 lbs.) throughout the day.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, testing, and recharging portable fire extinguishers.
• Occasionally accompany field technicians to assist on certain jobs.
