Shop Technician Generator Mechanic

Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified, outgoing individual for a position as a Shop Technician in our Oklahoma City location. Position Summary: A Shop/Generator Technician is responsible for trouble shooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance and start-ups on generator equipment including automatic transfer switches at the branch. This position will primarily focus on technician work but will also require supporting inventory and vendor deliveries.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of experience with diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
- The candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Willingness to train to increase generator knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Self-motivated
- The ability work alone as well as in a team environment
- A strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Good troubleshooting sills
- Honesty and integrity
- Safety aware

- Forklift certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on power generation equipment and automatic transfer switches
- Troubleshooting engine and electrical repairs
- Process required paperwork within deadlines
- Maintain parts inventory of service truck
- Provide excellent customer service
