About The Position

SAGE Rental Services is looking for a Yard Technician to join our team. The Yard Technician will be based out of our Deer Park, TX office and will be responsible for performing various shop duties inclusive of assisting with general maintenance duties, including routine house cleaning of the yard and shop spaces and equipment, moving equipment around the yard and participating in various meetings, trainings and development activities. Detailed Description: Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) : Operate yard equipment within SAGE's specified guidelines Maintain clean and orderly appearance of yard Maintain all equipment stored in the yard to ensure proper status or availability Conduct minor operator level maintenance tasks Maintain control and knowledge of all items (equipment, etc.) leaving, holding and arriving at the yard Goods Receipt of all items (equipment, parts, etc.) arriving in yard Perform hose maintenance with regards to testing and/or washing Assist in parts inventory Ability to operate heavy equipment Ability to work on weekends and be on call after hours Performs other related duties as assigned SAGE Rental Services specializes in the rental and sale of pumping, trench safety and general heavy equipment to the construction, municipal and industrial markets. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
Must be willing and available to be on call 24/7 for after-hours requests
Driven, with problem-solving skills, a mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn
Ability to work overtime
Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment
Ability to lift to 50+ pounds
Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty

Responsibilities
