About The Position

Must live within 20 miles of Fort Worth, TX Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm Position Purpose: Responsible for basic repairs, preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections (PDI), and deployment of machines in the rental fleet, including earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling equipment. Regular preventive maintenance of equipment is required to ensure that it remains in rental-ready condition, and is less likely to experience breakdowns on the job site.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • 3 Years of Work Experience

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Work - Documents all work performed on tablet technology, including completion of work orders to capture parts usage and labor, performing parts inventory counts, etc; Checks GPS units on equipment and ensures they are activated and properly checking in, and troubleshoots with IT team as needed; Rescues equipment from job sites as needed
  • Perform Inspections - Performs aerial lift inspections according to required checklist; Cleans equipment and trailers
  • Perform PMs and PDIs - Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on equipment according to prescribed schedule/maintenance intervals; Performs pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on equipment and trailers to ensure rental readiness prior to deploying to a store
  • Perform Troubleshooting & Repairs - Performs troubleshooting and repairs on small engines, including fuel systems, oil and air filtration systems, ignition systems, etc; Changes wheels, tracks, and tires on machines and trailers; Performs maintenance and repairs on trailers
  • Safety - Follows shop safety protocol, including proper storage of supplies and fuel, proper disposal of waste oils and fluids, and proper lifting and moving of materials and equipment; Safely operates forklift to load, unload, and move equipment and materials in the shop and yard
