About The Position

As a Shop Technician 1, Repair, you will evaluate and repair electrical assemblies and PCB’s in support of repair and refurbishment. You may perform electrical wiring, soldering and testing of assemblies, following standard procedures and under supervision. This position reports to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations, and is based out of the New Stanton, PA facility, requiring onsite presence 5 days per week.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/equivalent
• 1+ years relevant experience with demonstrated electrical and PCB skills. Specific knowledge of electrical, assembly, and wiring.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.

Nice To Haves

• Nuclear Industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to comprehend semi-complex mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data in the required form.
• Ability/knowledge of electrical equipment, electrical soldering skills, hand and power tool usage.
• Apply knowledge of advanced electro-mechanical theory and components.
• Install components, units, subassemblies and wiring.
• Ability to Operate electrical/electronic test equipment.
