The Shop Support is responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the service shop to ensure a safe work environment. The Shop Support must demonstrate behaviors consistent with company values - Speed, Value, Trust - in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple demands, prioritize and stay organized
- Ability to work well in a process driven and fast paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
Responsibilities
- Complete daily and weekly safety checklists and inspections
- Assist shop employees with requests for equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized shop
- Manages day-to-day operations of the tool room
- Drain oil pan carts into the oil waste barrels
- Monitors tools check in and check out procedure
- Assists with special projects in the shop such as foot printing
- Perform cleaning projects including the management of hazardous waste
- Perform job related duties as assigned and needed
