About The Position

The Shop Service Technician II - Power Systems is responsible for conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies. The technician will attend and complete required training classes, maintain a necessary set of tools, diagnose and perform repairs on equipment, and ensure documentation of repairs is completed accurately. The role requires a commitment to safety, effective communication, and a results-oriented approach, while also contributing to team efforts and mentoring others in the department.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech II.
• Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with relevant Dealer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and inform supervisors of cost overruns.
• Maintain a positive work attitude and support team efforts.
• Train and mentor others in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
