About The Position

The Store Manager is responsible for directing and supervising all functions and activities of the store and its Associates to achieve the Organization's goals, including sales, profit, Customer Experience, and Associate Engagement. This role involves building a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring efficiency in each department by implementing best practices. The Store Manager will enforce safety and compliance, provide strong leadership, and maintain a professional appearance while ensuring the store is well-stocked and properly merchandised.

Requirements

  • Ability to make decisions based on data.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and retrieve items from overhead storage.
  • Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the store and its Associates.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Store Team.
  • Coach and mentor Associates to improve performance.
  • Monitor and ensure cleanliness and neatness in all areas of the store.
  • Manage controllable expenses including payroll and supplies.
  • Ensure proper staffing to meet projected sales and Customer Experience needs.
  • Identify and develop talent within departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
