As an Entry Shop Rep you will work within a team to to recondition Tennant machines from start to completion. In this role, you’ll utilize various hand and power tools, following work instructions to achieve our Tennant quality standards. Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
0-2 years of related mechanical experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Routinely lifts up to 40 pounds individually
Works in multiple positions during a shift
Ability to stand for a 10 hour shift
Entry level mechanical aptitude and interest in learning mechanical maintenance and repair
Good communication skills
Good organization skills
Ability to understand and fill out service-related documents and paperwork
Ability to safely use basic hand tools and service shop equipment
Exposed to hazards/risks that require body protection (gloves, pants, steel toes, sleeves, safety glasses, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Related manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for cleaning incoming machines and preparing the machines for shop work. This includes using hand tools and carefully cleaning the machines with a pressure washer
Perform minor mechanical disassembly and assembly of Tennant products with complex functions
Understand and follow established procedures and processes to safely produce quality parts
Recognize, communicate and document safety concerns
Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized
Satisfy, in a timely and complete fashion, required service-related documentation: timesheets, repair orders, machine checklists, receiving records expense reports, inventory control forms and any other service related documents
Navigate Microsoft Windows and WorkForce proficiently
Assists in keeping shop area clean and performing minor and routine maintenance-related activities as directed and assigned by Shop Supervisor
Consistently present professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company equipment
Punctuality is a must for this position and individual should have reliable means of transportation to and from work
