About The Position

Cavender Toyota is currently seeking a Full-Time Shop Porter/Cleaner to support
our service and shop operations. This is a janitorial/custodial position in an
active, shop environment, ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing,
warehouse, plant, or automotive settings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable working in an industrial, fast-paced shop environment
• Must pass background check, MVR, and pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Prior janitorial, custodial, manufacturing, warehouse, or shop experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and custodial duties throughout the service department, body shop, and industrial work areas
• Sweep and maintain shop floors, technician stalls, and work bays
• Clean up oil, water, and fluid spills using proper safety procedures
• Empty, clean, and maintain trash and scrap receptacles inside and outside the facility
• Clean oil storage tanks and properly drain and dispose of used oil filters
• Remove scrap parts after coordination with the Parts Department
• Clean shop equipment areas, signage, mirrors, fans, and common areas
• Maintain driveways, sidewalks, and exterior areas free of debris
• Follow OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations
• Use required PPE and safety equipment
• Complete additional shop-support tasks as assigned
