About The Position

The container Shop Painter is responsible for cleaning, grinding, sanding and painting, small and large containers. The painter may also be required to perform general maintenance to containers and roll-off boxes. The painter will be responsible for applying decals as required. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Prep grind and scrap containers. Washout container if needed before painting. Paint Front load containers/ Rolloffs/ Compactors and all misc. parts. Paint booth Maintenance. Paints repaired containers. Completes required paperwork. Install company and safety decals in accordance with company standard diagram on containers and roll-off boxes. Get front load containers ready for routes. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Advanced knowledge of airless paint Sprayers. Familiar with basic use of hand tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentation, technical procedures, and governmental regulations and to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 1 years of experience with air or electric sprayer.
