About The Position

Crookham Construction is a trusted leader in the construction industry, known for our commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence. We’re looking for a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team and keep our fleet and equipment running at peak performance. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment, including: Diesel heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.) Concrete construction equipment (mixers, pumps, saws, etc.) Company vehicles (light-duty and medium-duty trucks) Your expertise will ensure our crews have reliable equipment to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy diesel equipment and concrete construction machinery
• Must provide all your own tools
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• CDL preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and teamwork

Responsibilities
