About The Position
Position: Shop Mechanic Location: Houston, TX Pay : $20-$35 per hour (Negotiable based on experience) Full Benefits : Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOP The Shop Mechanic is responsible for: · Maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers to medium duty trucks · Maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles · Documenting preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with D.O.T. regulations
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License required(CDL Preferred), or willing to obtain a CDL B with Air Brake within 90 days.
- 5 years of experience with BIT inspections
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required
- Prioritize safety, is conscientious, dependable and quality-minded.
