We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team to assemble, maintain, and repair machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience with a wide range of machines and tools, following strict safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Minimum of XX years of proven experience as a Mechanic
  • Level A = 8+
  • Level B = 5-7
  • Level C = 2-4
  • Strong knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, and other mechanical systems
  • Skilled in using hand tools, shop tools, and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers)
  • Ability to follow established procedures, read instruction manuals, and wiring schematics
  • Must have basic hand tools for daily use
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong physical stamina and good overall fitness
  • Positive attitude and reliable attendance
  • High school diploma preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with heavy equipment is a plus
  • certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship is a plus
  • ASE certifications are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build machines or mechanical components according to specifications
  • Inspect and troubleshoot machines, engines, and transmissions to identify and diagnose issues
  • Run diagnostic tests and maintain detailed logs of all work performed
  • Conduct repairs with an emphasis on maximizing functionality and reliability
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
  • Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components and replenish necessary fluids
  • Advise on correct maintenance practices and preventative measures to machine users
  • Undertake additional duties as required, such as repairs of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles, etc.
  • Perform service calls and roadside repairs and adjustments, as needed.
