Position Summary
Midwest Electric & Generator is seeking a dependable and hands-on Shop Manager to support our Elk River location. This position works in a heated shop environment and provides operational support to the Service Manager through general shop organization, equipment staging, vehicle transport, and delivery coordination.
This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with a stable and growing company.

Requirements

• Forklift experience required
• Strong ability to maneuver trucks and back up trailers
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations
• Clean criminal background
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a physically active shop environment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
• Stage generators and equipment for upcoming installations
• Put away inventory and manage basic stock organization
• Transport company vehicles as needed
• Make local site deliveries
• Support the Service Manager and field technicians with daily operational needs
• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently
• Maneuver trucks and trailers, including backing trailers
