About The Position

Our Shop Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the dealership’s facilities. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining a shop environment that remains organized, well-maintained, and fully operational to support daily business activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or maintenance roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance, cleaning procedures, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to assist others as needed
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms.
• Capable of safely working in a shop environment around equipment and machinery.
• Full dexterity and mobility required to operate cleaning equipment and handle tools.
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, cleaning chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the shop, offices, restrooms, and surrounding grounds to ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized environment.
• Assist with general upkeep of equipment and work areas.
• Handle trash removal, floor care, window cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
• Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols, dealership policies, and industry regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Report facility issues or needed repairs promptly to the Shop Manager/Shop Foreman.
• Support the operational needs of the service team by maintaining clean work areas and assisting with special projects as assigned.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on productivity, safety, and quality.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and contribute to a positive customer and employee experience.
