About The Position

The function of this position is to: Provide parts and service to technicians and other employees of Home Climates Be able to safely drive a 20-foot box truck forward and backward using side mirrors Abide by all traffic laws to safely deliver parts and materials daily To learn by observation with the goal of becoming a technician or plumber.

Requirements

  • Be able to safely drive a 20-foot box truck forward and backward using side mirrors
  • Abide by all traffic laws to safely deliver parts and materials daily
  • Must have a good working knowledge of products and services being offered and this may require additional study and training both on and off site
  • Continuously improve knowledge of construction in general, and how Home Climates operates to benefit the customer
  • Establish goals and objectives as they relate to the position, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals
  • Assist Installers and Technicians in the field as a laborer
  • Regularly review and monitor progress against goals, and seek assistance as needed
  • Communicate effectively with superiors, coworkers, and customers
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to accurately list, sort, and provide materials and supplies
  • Must be able to work under time constraints, budgetary limits, and pressures
  • Efficiently manage his/her time and schedules
  • Be computer literate to the extent necessary to fulfill this function
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required
  • Should be very familiar with the use of smart phones, text messaging, and email
  • Maintain clean, neat, and professional appearance
  • Work and drive safely, and can recognize and avoid dangerous situations

Nice To Haves

  • EPA refrigerant certification a big plus (if not we will help you get certified)

Responsibilities

  • Breaks down old equipment for Scrap
  • Perform Janitorial duties in the office and warehouse.
  • Parts delivery
  • Shop inventory
  • Customer service orientation
