Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Equipment repair and maintenance training is an asset Keep a clean working environment and assist other technicians in the shop as needed. Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines. Ensures a safe work environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines. Test and calibrate machines to see if they are functional for rent or sale. Repaint parts, touch up paint, and put decals on welders to keep up the general appearance. Replace defective parts and do any preventative maintenance required. Get parts as required in order to complete repairs. Inspect returned equipment for proper operation and /or damage by the customer. Operate a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to move machines and equipment in the shop. Maintains communication with all branch personnel. Performs other related operational/shop duties as required.

Requirements

  • Required Education High School Diploma.
  • Experience 0-1 years of related technical experience; we welcome those early in their career or transitioning from similar fields.
  • Licenses/Certifications Possession of a valid Driver’s License is required for this role.
  • Skills and Abilities Thoroughness and care in technical tasks, paired with solid organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive with trusted autonomy while staying connected to team goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Post secondary education equivalent to a one year technical college or equivalent is an asset.
  • Equipment repair and maintenance training is an asset
