About The Position
Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring a Yard Jockey / Shop Support team member to join our fleet maintenance operation in Cocoa, FL. If you have Class A CDL experience or yard jockey/spotter experience, and you're serious about safety, reliability, and keeping operations running smoothly — we want to meet you. Requirements
- Yard jockey, spotting, or CDL Class A experience preferred
- A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- A valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to complete required training: 40-hour Yard Truck Certification Forklift Certification Course
- Basic computer skills for entering work orders and time logs
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Yard jockey, spotting, or CDL Class A experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely move semi-trailers around the yard using a yard truck (yard horse)
- Back trailers into service bays and staging areas
- Wash trailers inside and out to maintain cleanliness standards
- Fuel and support fleet maintenance operations
- Keep the shop, wash bay, and fuel island clean and organized
- Operate forklifts, company trucks, and yard equipment
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a high-performance team
- Complete additional duties to support daily shop functions
