About The Position

Position Details: Receive instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. Organize, and maintain organization, of parts to specific BOMs. Secure materials such as fasteners, lifting straps, oil, hose, clamps, spray paint, etc. to facilitate the building of equipment. Collect necessary parts to assemble components. Sort and place parts in appropriate location. Carry needed tools or supplies from storage and return them after use. Distribute tools and other items for use and return them to the appropriate locations, according to plans. Maintain neat and orderly hose area. Gathering parts from parts room and/or Fabrication if needed. Move scrap materials to appropriate recycling location and/or trash receptacles. Measure, create, and apply labels to necessary hoses/wire harnesses that do not already have labels Signal Team Members to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials. Other duties as needed to meet Production requirements. Qualifications/Experience: No minimum education required. At least 6 months as a Laborer in a Manufacturing (or similar) environment. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Basic knowledge of hand tools for plumbing, electrical, and carpentry materials/techniques required Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the day. Supervisory Responsibility - this position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment - this job operates in a shop environment where tools and other machinery is used. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Tuesday through Friday, 4:00PM. to 2:30 A.M. Travel - None. Requirements

  • No minimum education required.
