Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated Shop Helper to join our fleet service shop in Brundidge, AL. Requirements
- Ability to work varied schedules and overtime when necessary
- Strong commitment to safety and professional standards
- A positive, team-first attitude with a respectful demeanor toward both internal and external customers
- Motivation to complete tasks efficiently and reliably
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Must successfully complete a 40-hour Yard Truck driving course and forklift certification course
- Basic computer skills for work order completion and time entry
Responsibilities
- Washing trailers inside and out to maintain cleanliness and appearance
- Safely and efficiently operating the yard truck to back up semi-trailers and move them around the yard
- Cleaning and maintaining the shop, wash bay, and fuel island
- Fueling equipment and assisting with the maintenance of fleet vehicles
- Meeting standard repair times and contributing to a high-performing team environment
- Operating company vehicles, yard truck, forklift, and shop trucks
- Adhering to safety standards and following company policies and procedures
- Completing additional duties as assigned to support daily operations
