About The Position
This is an in-house position. The primary responsibility is to take an active role in supporting all fabrication functions and positions. This position will assist all other operators as requested by the fabrication supervisor. Specific duties include, but are not entirely limited to: Cutting, Polishing, Fabrication, Seam & Wash, and Tempering Glass. May also be asked to assist in special projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cutting, edging, fabrication, CNC, seaming, Tempering, and loading.
- Maintain a clean work environment including cleaning up breakage, disposing of damaged glass, keeping a clean floor area around walking surfaces, keeping station desks clean and organized, etc.
- Review all glass for quality control standards. Participates in any activity requiring additional help and organizing as required.
- Regular cleaning, repair and general maintenance of the machines and coordinating those efforts with our workload and management.
- Expected to be instrumental and responsive to changes in the production schedule as required.
- Shop Help will be OSHA 10 certified.
- Must be versatile and work in multiple environments.
