About The Position

The Shop Hand will support welders, machinists, and fabricators by preparing RAW materials, operating basic machinery (grinders, drills, saws, and sanders), moving heavy materials, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This entry-level role involves loading/unloading equipment, using hand tools, assisting with assembly. Requirements

1+ years machine shop experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Good driving record
Focused on details and accuracy
Strong orientation toward company policies, quality and safety

Nice To Haves

Basic welding and machining skills are preferred

Responsibilities

Clean machines, sweep floors, remove metal shavings, and maintain an organized work area.
Load/unload raw materials and finished products onto machines, and move parts using hoists or forklifts.
Assist operators with machine setups, tool changes, and basic tasks like deburring, sawing, tapping, and palletizing.
Organize, clean and distribute tools, fixtures and shop equipment.
Assemble finish goods as needed.
