About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the shipping/receiving department and completing miscellaneous production tasks, emphasizing attention to detail and organization.

Requirements

• Ability to pay close attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Physically receiving in packages and digitally receiving them into the accounting software.
• Support warehouse operations by organizing materials and maintaining inventory levels.
• Kit out jobs for production with parts off of a Bill of Materials.
• Support in packing and shipment of product.
• Utilize forklift and overhead crane to transport materials within the shop as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various production tasks.
