About The Position

Seeking a person to be a shop hand assistant that has the ability to move from one department to another as needed. Will be working on small rubber and metal parts that are created for technical industries. This will include prepping and final detailing of high-accuracy products to meet our client's standards. Must be detailed oriented, ok with sitting or standing in one place, and takes pride in work.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills
• Excellent attendance

Nice To Haves

• Detailed orientated
• Familiarity with visual inspection and quality control in manufacturing
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Ability to use various hand and power tools to remove burrs, tool marks, and other visual defects with exceptional accuracy
• Assembly of manufacturing products
• Work from blueprints and follow written, verbal, and visual instructions
• Complete any necessary documentation for quality and productivity records
