About The Position

Precision Air is hiring an Assistant Service Manager for General Aviation, for our FAA Part 145 repair station, with corporate aviation experience. This position requires a mix of technical expertise, supervisory skills and administrative capabilities. The base site for this position will be Georgetown, SC.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in general aviation.
• Certification and License with Inspection Authorization.
• Minimum of 5+ years working in a Repair Station environment.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in general aviation.
• In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting systems on aircraft, including reciprocating engines, turboprops, and jets.
• Strong teamwork and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and maintain airworthiness.
• Manage administrative duties such as tracking repairs, inventory, and aircraft status using spreadsheets.
• Review work orders to ensure compliance with repair processes.
• Conduct logbook entries for maintenance and inspections.
• Research aircraft data and parts.
• Perform hands-on technical tasks on the shop floor.
• Troubleshoot technical problems on a variety of aircraft.
• Manage a team, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
