About The Position

Any payrate advertised in this ad is not provided or authorized by Atlantic Emergency Solutions. Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking full time Shop Foreman for our Greenville Service Center. Our Shop Foreman are responsible for: Assisting the Service Center Manager with planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the maintenance and repair of fire and emergency apparatuses. Analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains fire and emergency equipment. Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose discrepancies. Dismantle, repair, reassemble vehicles or equipment utilizing hand tools and hoists. Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using precision measuring equipment. Repair, rebuild, overhaul, replace defective assemblies and components such as collector gear boxes, transfer cases, differentials, and both water or hydraulic pumps. Test overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency. Weld broken parts and structural members.

Requirements

  • Successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of related experience, along with being able to lift up to 30lbs without assistance.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory driving record required.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B with Tanker endorsement is required or must be obtained within twelve months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Mechanic and EVT certifications as well as state inspection license a plus.
