As the Shop Foreman, you will maintain the highest levels of quality and productivity in the service department to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired properly for a superior customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of dealership's computer systems
  • Time Management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills and works well in a team environment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Two to three years of service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in timely and accurate servicing and repair of their vehicles.
  • Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and practical expertise through the study of technical manuals and bulletins, classroom training, communication with factory service representatives and actual hands-on experience.
  • Actively assist service technicians with diagnosis and repair of vehicles, personally inspect all major repair jobs for proper completion, and meet with group leaders and management to review performance and administrative matters.
  • Coordinate and conduct on-going training for service technicians, set goals based on individual skill levels, and create an environment for high productivity through motivational leadership.
