Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble basic product parts according to production guidelines and specifications.
  • Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment.
  • Check that items produced pass quality control requirements.
  • Perform troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments.
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
  • Utilize Visual Factory software to complete preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.).
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Building boxes for assembly department.
  • Manage rag buckets.
  • Support assembly operators by loading & unloading boxes coming off the assembly machines.
  • Printing and validating labels.
  • Assist with transporting used/replacement tooling between tool room and machines.
  • Floor cleaning throughout plant floor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
