The position involves assisting guests with purchases while maintaining a clean store appearance.

Requirements

• Ability to listen effectively and communicate clearly in English.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary for cash register operations.
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to walk/stand and work 90% of the shift.
• Ability to climb ladders and step stools.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with any item wanted and direct them to their needs.
• Continuously walk/stand within guest proximity to provide immediate feedback on product knowledge and perform department operations.
• Use cleaning equipment and maintain cleanliness of the store.
• Answer the multi-line telephone and provide information as needed.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction, and information.
• Perform basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register.
• Check station for proper set-up and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
• Respond to guest complaints in a positive manner and implement solutions.
• Operate the store without direct supervision.
