About The Position

The position involves maintaining accurate department files and records, including employee files, absenteeism records, purchasing/supply records, setup cards, QCP paperwork, and process improvements. The role requires printing out routings for job packets and entering daily labor data while reconciling the Labor Efficiency file with the Labor Operations Report and making necessary corrections. Additionally, the job entails performing various typing, word processing, spreadsheet, and copying duties, which include creating reports, memos, charts, graphs, purchase requisitions, and varied correspondence for the manager and facilitators. The individual will also monitor and order office supplies for the department, order shop supplies as directed, and order tools for employee purchases. Liaison duties include obtaining requested information for department facilitators and employees and delivering information and materials to other departments and occasionally outside parties, as well as sorting and distributing department mail.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Strong knowledge of PC spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Must be well organized, accurate and able to work independently.
  • One (1) plus years of office clerical experience. Shop office experience preferred.
