About The Position

As a Shop Assistant/Quality Control team member, you will be responsible for ensuring top-notch quality checks on completed vehicles, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the shop and office, picking up and delivering parts and trucks, and assisting with various tasks around the shop. This role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong commitment to quality and organization.

Dependable attendance and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform quality control checks on completed vehicles and prepare them for delivery using checklists and necessary documentation.
Capture photos of completed trucks and potentially assist with vehicle certification processes.
Maintain shop and office cleanliness, including trash removal and cardboard recycling management.
Assist with inventory management and staging items for installation.
Monitor vehicle status, reposition vehicles as needed, and ensure secure parking.
Keep common areas inside and outside the shop clean and organized.
Assist in stocking and reorganizing parts in the shop and showroom.
Transport parts and vehicles as needed.
Maintain safety standards, coordinate safety meetings, and support compliance initiatives.
Process vehicle certification labels and BU camera test data.
Document noteworthy builds and save images on the shared drive.
Manage product returns with vendors such as MD, Keystone, P&E, and Tristate.
