Autoplex is seeking a motivated Automotive Shop Assistant to support our technicians and daily shop operations. This role is ideal for someone interested in learning the automotive restyling industry, including leather interiors, accessories, and general vehicle upgrades. The right candidate will assist senior technicians with installations, help prep vehicles, maintain a clean and organized shop, and support workflow by moving vehicles and running errands as needed. This position offers hands-on learning opportunities in areas such as leather interiors, truck accessories, and light mechanical work. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, and eager to learn and grow with the business. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in wherever needed are key to success in this role. Compensation: Senior automotive accessory techs in our company are highly compensated, paid by job via flag rate, which is similar to a mechanic book rate. The more skilled and experienced you become the more you can make. Our pay rates are among the highest in our industry. Requirements

Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn hands-on automotive skills, including leather interiors and accessories
Mechanically inclined with an interest in growing within the automotive industry
Practices safety, ownership, and respect when working on and around each customer’s vehicle
Maintains a clean, professional appearance and helps keep the shop organized
Comfortable communicating clearly and effectively in English
Exercises good judgment and asks questions to learn and improve
Works well with others, supporting technicians and contributing to a positive team environment
Takes direction, coaching, and feedback well with a strong desire to grow
Willing to assist wherever needed, including moving vehicles, running errands, and general shop support
