SUMMARY The Shop Assembler Assist in most/all applications of prefabrication related to Pipe Fitting, Plumbing and Sheet-Metal. SHIFT Monday – Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm (Occasional Overtime) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. (This description may change as more Manufacturing is added and processes need to be modified.) Responsibilities

  • Assembly of Sheet Metal Duct.
  • Assembly of Various Plumbing Modules.
  • Participate in Pipefitting Preparation and Assembly of Piping Systems.
  • Kitting of Fixtures.
  • Cutting, Grinding, Grooving, Threading, Crimping, Shearing, Bending and Drilling using various power tools.
  • Reading and understanding the use of a tape measurer.
  • General use of various hand tools including pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, torque wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and more.
  • Reading and understanding of prints for assembly.
  • Loading, Stacking, Staging, Banding of Materials.
  • Labeling Jobs Complete.
  • Time Tracking with the use of timeclock and handwritten time sheets.
  • Use of hand trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Working while standing up to 8 hours.
  • Daily housekeeping and organization of tools and materials.
