About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Shipside Operations Specialists (Level 2 and 3) to join the 787 Line Side Control Center (LSCC) Midbody and Aft Team located in Charleston, SC on 1st shift. Position Responsibilities: Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results. Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues. Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues. Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items. Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates. Works under general direction

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research
  • 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Must have analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • 3+ years’ experience in the airline/aerospace industry
  • Experience working with customers
