Shift: 7 am - 7 pm Position Description: Meet or exceed production goals as established for the shift worked. Maintain attendance as defined in current published employee handbook. Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems. Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines. Compliance to all operating procedures. Accountable for final packaging of quality product. Understanding of the SAP operating system to a level that allows he/she to maintain transactional integrity in daily role Ability to obtain/retain forklift certification Work to maintain 5S/safety standards. Accurate loading of finished, packaged product. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to complete cross training OJT for Cutline Associate Position in a timely manner.
  • Experience in cable manufacturing or handling/packaging/loading of fiber optic cable.
  • Ability to safely and adequately package and load fiber optic cable
  • Discipline to load with consistent best practices
