About The Position

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities: 1. Works from sales orders, remove home from stock as instructed, labels and prepares hose for shipment. 2. When needed, trims hose to length or splices hose to fill customer orders. 3. Stages orders for pick up by outside freight carriers. 4. Completes daily paperwork per company guidelines. 5. Will cross-train in other areas as time permits. 6. Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor. 7. Performs any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required. Quantifiable Measures: 1. Quantity and quality of shipments made 2. Attendance 3. Cleanliness/housekeeping 4. Safety Primary Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for pulling orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment 2. Keep work area clean, safe, and organized Requirements Qualifications: 1. Ability to read and write legibly. 2. Knowledge of shipping orders. 3. Must qualify for a current forklift operator’s certificate. 4. Must be organized and motivated. 5. Be able to communicate with freight and UPS drivers. 6. Ability to be on feet entire shift. 7. Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs as needed Salary Description 15.00
