About The Position

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team as a Supervisor who will oversee daily shipping operations to ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant movement of materials and finished goods. This role manages a team of shipping associates, coordinates logistics activities, and ensures adherence to company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, an associate's degree is preferred
  • 3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred, Cold Chain shipping preferred
  • ASCM certified / CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution) or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and shipping software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the shipping team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Plan and prioritize daily shipping and receiving activities to meet operational and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, and other applicable regulations for domestic and international shipments.
  • Review and approve shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping issues and optimize logistics.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite).
  • Collect and receive finished goods with flexible schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain shipping supplies and equipment; escalate maintenance needs as required.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in shipping processes and team efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Supply Chain operations.
