Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare. Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flex Days

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education; or equivalent work experience in manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Four or more years supervising warehouse and/or manufacturing staff preferred.
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of direct reports: including coaching, development, and time management
  • Model and support safe operations and a strong safety culture in Shipping
  • Manage daily activities of storage and distribution locations
  • Lead/support process improvement projects and maintain a positive work culture through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain control of all assigned inventory, including the prompt resolution of discrepancies
  • Lead inventory count and accuracy activities for assigned areas on assigned shifts
  • Ensure goods are being timely dispatched to the appropriate destinations
  • Oversee warehouse operations, staffing, and development for assigned team members
  • Develop, implement, and enforce logistics processes in assigned facilities, functional areas, and shifts
  • Manage compliance with product safety and quality for assigned facilities
  • Communicate efficiently with CSR’s, customers, carriers, and vendors as needed
  • Ensure goods are stored and handled properly to prevent loss or damage
  • Develop and lead training objectives and programs for all assigned team members
  • Ensure that equipment in assigned areas is monitored and maintained for safe and reliable performance and that assigned equipment receives preventative maintenance PIV
  • Comply with all AIB and BRC Standards, Safety Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proficiency in WMS system to ensure adherence to product FIFO, ensure FIFO is being followed
  • Performs Shipping Operator, and material handling job responsibilities as needed
  • Proficient in inbound procedure and processes
  • Work collaboratively with Material Managers/Plant Managers at production facilities, finishing building and Sustainability Center to ensure efficient movement of product to/from DC/MW
  • Proficient in transferring material to off-site facilities
  • Strong leadership skills providing constructive feedback, disciplinary feedback, and enforcing all CNG safety and operational processes and procedures with assigned team members
  • Lead daily shift meetings communicating to team safety objectives, daily activities, company updates, policy, and procedure changes, and provide feedback to team’s questions
  • Effectively communicate and work with 3PL daily to ensure outbound shipments will reach destination in a timely manner, and problem solve with problematic shipments.
