What You’ll Get to Do The Shipping Supervisor - located in Midway, TN is focused on the Safety, Employee and Customer Relations, Production, Quality and Scheduling commitments. and reports to the Manufacturing Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who can work in a team environment supportive of the employees, organization, as well as safety and production efforts . A vital member of the Manufacturing Department , this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Night Shift 6PM - 6AM
Requirements
- Three to five years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Possess an understanding of process control concepts.
- General knowledge of computers/software, Microsoft Office, Epics, Ignition software.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and service-oriented business practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality in all aspects of the department’s products – shipments, truckloads, paperwork, etc.
- Processing of shipments and running reports in the Epicor and Epics systems
- Work very closely with the Transportation Supervisor to ensure we optimize the use of our transportation resources and meet customer shipment requirements
