Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee our shipping department in Miamisburg, OH. The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the shipping team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers. These tasks will include but are not limited to: conducting daily audits, picking and filling customer orders, loading/offloading of trucks, and organizing shipments.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years experience in warehouse associate/shipping position, preferably in a manufacturing facility
Experience driving a forklift is required.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Serve as backup for Shipping Manager and Warehouse Team Leads.
Lead daily stand-up meetings and conduct workflow audits.
Participate in daily Gemba walks to assess and support team needs.
Ensure accurate and timely order processing, documentation, and ERP updates.
Monitor special shipping instructions and audit orders before dispatch.
Communicate order issues, delays, and substitutions to Strategic Project Managers.
Report quality concerns and BOM discrepancies to Engineering and Purchasing.
Support Team Leads with tools, guidance, and adherence to SOPs and 5S principles.
Promote continuous improvement and evaluate processes quarterly.
Maintain a safe, organized, and accessible warehouse environment.
