About The Position

The Shipping Supervisor oversees shipping activities and ensures adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, driving continuous improvement, and achieving key performance objectives. Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, You will normally work this shift, however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or shipping environment preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate shipping activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and audit Standard Work to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Achieve departmental and corporate goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by proactively addressing hazards.
• Lead and mentor shipping employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Train employees on proper equipment usage and best practices.
