About The Position

As a Shipping Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products reach customers safely and efficiently. This position involves packaging equipment and parts, maintaining accurate supplier records, and coordinating material transfers between plants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, effective communication, all while embracing a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Able to use windows-based computer programs
• Self-motivated to work productively, efficiently and prioritize duties
• Available to work 1st shift every weekday, overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate with other internal departments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Electrical pallet jack or forklift experience preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Package and crate medium to large size equipment and spare or replacement parts
• Clean and prepare equipment and parts for packaging
• Perform inspections before initiating the packaging and crating process.
• Properly package the parts shipments with packing material.
• Stock parts in stock bins in an orderly manner.
• Use forklift for loading and unloading trucks and general warehousing
• Use Epicor ERP system to record hours and ensure the order is progressing
• Keep the shipping area accessible, safe, organized & clean.
