About The Position

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for packaging and fulfilling orders, ensuring accurate shipment of product, and meeting established order turnaround times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Order Fulfillment (100% of the job) ● Picks, packages, and prints labels for daily orderfulflment ● Verifies and enters shipping data in POS system ● Prioritizes orders as needed within daily fulfillment schedule ● Inspects Items for quality and reports on defects during the shipping process ● Initiates communication with other teams to report on inventory levels, special orders, etc. ● Acts as backup for warehouse tasks, working independently where needed

Requirements

• 2-5 Years of experience - can operate and manage processes and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Skilled at working in a digital environment
• Able to navigate basic functions of ecommerce POS system
• Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen frequently
• Ability to perform basic math and counting
• Ability to read and respond due to nature of the work on a frequent basis
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to stand at a desk workstation frequently
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, push, pull, and carry items frequently
• Ability to use hands and fingers and to reach for and handle objects to perform tasks frequently
• Lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally
• Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred; will consider those with some associate degree completion and transferable skills/experience
