About The Position

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth execution of shipping operations. This role requires an individual who can collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency, all within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with complex teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities to address challenges in scheduling and shipping processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, or scheduling roles.
  • Familiarity with shipping regulations and transportation procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor shipments, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that schedules are adhered to without delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to manage stock levels and prioritize shipments.
  • Analyze shipping processes to identify potential hurdles and proactively propose solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Use SAP, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other tools to manage schedules, track inventory, and generate reports.
  • Meet deadlines and resolve unexpected issues in a fast-paced environment.
