About The Position

Securely package boxes to avoid damage during transit. Routes outing shipments to the proper destination. Places orders to replenish shipping supplies and stores supplies in the designated location. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or packing slips to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments. Documents tracked numbers into SAP when needed. Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping of materials. Contributes and assists with process improvement initiatives Assures shipping areas are kept in a clean, safe and orderly manner Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Adhere and support KLS Martins quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation.
• Able to work in a team setting and independently under minimum supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally as well as externally.
