About The Position

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to company procedures Use computer hardware and software to create shipping documents and generate labels Complete and verify all required paperwork for FedEx, UPS, and LTL shipments Ensure products are delegated to the correct courier Arrange finished products using FIFO methodology Move short-dated finished products into inactive inventory Perform monthly inventory checks Receive and inspect incoming raw materials and finished products Put away incoming products in the correct location Handle returned products and verify condition Unload and load freight using manual pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided) Build, repair, and crate skids as required Assist with assembly of products when needed Prepare shipper cartons, boxes, and skids as needed Review and report equipment condition for upkeep and maintenance Perform daily and weekly cleaning of designated work areas Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies Assist in other areas as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management

Requirements

Must have knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and LTL shipments and related paperwork.
Ability to lift and or move up to 50+lbs. throughout the entire shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring hand use, such as handling, touching, and feeling items.
Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
