About The Position

This position is responsible for, picking, packing, palletizing, labeling,
shipping of customer orders, loading/unloading trucks, support for paint process
(loading/unloading, part labeling and inventory transactions, part inspection),
assembly of small parts and operating bushing presses.

Requirements

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must have good understanding of inventory control
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license
• Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner
• Ability to understand what constitutes quality products
• Possess basic math skills
• Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall
• Must be computer literate
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools
• Handle parts as necessary to meet production standards.
• Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.
• Perform source inspection
• Perform daily TPM
• Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns
• Performs daily duties per work instructions / standard work
• Completes all daily data collection as established
• Must perform daily 5S activities
